Robin Morgan Talks About Feminism And Occupying Patriarchy On The First Episode Of Feminist Peace Network Radio

December 6, 2011

On the inaugural episode of Feminist Peace Network Radio, I had the pleasure of talking with feminist shero Robin Morgan about feminism and the role it plays in the Occupy movement and as Robin so aptly pointed out, the role Occupy should play in the feminist movement. You can listen to it here.

My great thanks to Allie McNeil of A World of Progress Radio (AWOP) for helping with the chat room and providing much needed support for my pre-first show jitters and to everyone who listened in. For those of you who are wondering, yes there will be more shows after the first of the year, stay tuned!

    Absolutely brilliant!

Everywoman should hear this. Then we could organize and put women at the center. “Men live in Capitalism” Robin Morgan says “and women live in feudalism”. Ever heard this from any man at Occupy?!

Loved it, and Robin Morgan knows whereof she speaks. Women live in feudalism and men live in capitalism… an occupy guy sure as hell wouldn’t have said that. We have all the info on how male supremacy works…goodbye to all that…. but the challenge is always to fully equip a new generation of feminist to nip it in the bud, when occupy men act just as male supremacist as they did in the 60s. Leftist men want collective ownship of women’s bodies, and unpaid slaves in the house, right wing men want wives and then have sex with women on the side.

They occupy women’s bodies and Wall Street. Feudalism they name is woman.
